The '09 026 FC - "Fury" boys currently play SLYSA -Premier Division - 11v11 (2022-23) and are coached by Matt Lamons, Mike Rupp, Brian Douglass, and Todd Davenport.
The Fury is a competitive premier division 2009 team. As players and coaches, they have been together for 5+ years and are a team of great players and families. Integrity and good sportsmanship are just as important to them as talent and skill.
Practice Schedule, Commitment, Expectations:
- Fall 2022: full commitment, 2 practices/week (starting late Summer), SLYSA league games (typically on weekends) begin in August. Tournaments: 1-3 in town and 1 out of town
- Winter 2023-23: Slysa Futsal Indoor session, optional practices as dictated by the weather/schedule (i.e. long breaks between games). Possible indoor league at stl ath/Vetta.
- Spring 2023: 1-2 practices/week (starting late February), SLYSA league outdoor games begin in Feb, 1-2 in town tournaments, and kick arounds/tryouts
- Summer 2022/23: 026 Army Soccer Camp and other optional camps and kick arounds/tryouts
We are looking for experienced SLYSA players with 2009
birthyears currently in 7th or 8th grade (2022-23 school year).
